When I connected my A026 to my boat, with a powered vhf splitter and a 5v power source along with gps antenna, it seemed to be working. I connected my IPAD and Android phone to the wifi, but did not get GPS or AIS data. I thought maybe I needed to configure it, so I tried connecting my laptap running a factory copy of Windows 10, but could not connect, and could not install the driver. I disconnected the A026 from my boat and took it home to connect to my desktop computer, and I still couldn’t connect or install drivers. I tried my wife’s computer running windows 11 with no luck. I tried my desktop at work running Windows 10, and it knocks out all other USB connections when I plug it in.
On my home computer, it would occassionally give a message that said tA USB device has malfunctioned and exceeded the power limits of its hub port.
Any suggestions?

Some of our customers experienced similar driver installation issues with their devices in the past.
Please follow the link for more details on how to resolve this issue: https://www.quark-elec.com/forum/topic/a024-driver-install-fail/
We know the above link is about a different device, but the steps to install the driver are the same.
For the list of compatible navigation apps, please check the following link: https://www.quark-elec.com/best-ais-boating-app/
Also, we have a short guide on our forum on how to set up Navionics on an iPhone or iPad: https://www.quark-elec.com/forum/topic/displaying-ais-targets-in-navionics-on-iphone-ipad/
Hope this helps.
