Hi there. I want to use mt a206 as a WiFi transmitter only. Can I switch off the Ais and gps feeds and just use the sentences from my gx2200 radio?
Thanks.
20/11/2018 at 2:04 pm #14224Hello Sorry for the late reply. If you are looking for just a WiFi multiplexer then I would suggest buying the A024. This is cheaper than the A026 because it comes without a GPS connection. Apart from that it works exactly the same with WiFi, USB and multiplexer.
However if you want the GPS/AIS as a redundancy for your system then I would purchase the A026 and leave the connections apart from the multiplexer.
I hope this helps, please let me know if there is anything else I can help with.
Best regards
