Hi, just received QK-G022 and on reading the manual, it seems an alarm input will trigger an associated relay. This isn’t good news for me – I’m hoping to use this on a boat, with r1 controlling a generator, r2 central heating and r3 controlling deck lights. Alarm 1 is for bilge pump running, alarm 2 for mains power loss.
So, I’m not really keen on a bilge pump warning turning on the generator, and a power failure alarm turning on the heating! (I also don’t want a power failure to turn on the generator for safety reasons)
Is there a way to prevent alarm activation from triggering relays please?
Thanks.
11/04/2018 at 9:39 am #13994Unfortunately, it cannot been disabled now. We will keep this requirement as wishlist on our next version design. You can send it back and we will refund you. Sorry about this. 17/04/2018 at 9:51 am #13995AnonymousHi admin, Thanks for the reply, and the offer of a refund.
I won’t take you up on that, as the remote switch ability is still very useful.
It would be great if you did include a relay interrupt on the alarm signal at some point, as that would enable me to use the full potential…
Thanks,
Ross
01/05/2018 at 9:00 pm #13996AnonymousIt seems I have the same request. I want to control the relays independently of the inputs.
To day If one input is triggered the QK-G021/022 will send out an SMS to the registered mobile terminals. Meanwhile,
the corresponding relays will also be activated.
how to disable this action of the inputs on the relays ?
I just need to be informed by SMS of the change of state of inputs ?

05/05/2018 at 8:58 pm #13997Our current QK-G022 has supported this function(from May 2018). People who want QK-G021(without enclosure module) still need wait couple of months for this updating. 07/05/2018 at 9:21 pm #13998AnonymousThank’s for reply. So I guess that the manual is not updated yet ?

14/08/2018 at 8:16 am #13999Hello The manual is updated now with the latest firmware and software updates. The manual also includes new commands that customers have been asking for. Please have a look and let us know what you think.
Best regards
20/01/2019 at 11:58 pm #14001AnonymousHi guys, I notice that the 022 now supports relay interrupt on alarm activation – this is perfect for my needs, but my unit is the older version and doesn’t support this.
How do I update the firmware to take advantage of this feature?
Thanks
21/01/2019 at 10:33 am #14000Hello Yes they have had a firmware update and a few commands have been added to the list. Unfortunately the firmware update is not something that can be done at home. We have equipment that will update it.
If you would like a firmware update then we might be able to help. We would need to know what version your G021/22 is first. If you look inside the unit and on the PCB you will see a version number. Please let me know what version number it is and we can go from there.
Best regards
21/01/2019 at 2:50 pm #14002AnonymousThank you I’ll take a trip down to the boat and find it out.
