Greetings and thank you all for allowing me to join the forum I’m running a Raymarine C80 MFD, the Quark A031 and an external generic GPS receiver.
My NMEA cable (R08004) from the C80 has five wires: Green, White, Yellow, Brown and Screen.
MUX is self explanatory :>)
GPS receiver has four wires, Green, White, Black, Red. The manufacturer’s instructions are as follows:
C80 White to GPS White
C80 Green to GPS Black and both to battery power negative.
GPS Red to battery power +
Here is my plan. Take GPS receiver red and black and run them to positive and negative from battery. This will power the GPS unit
I don’t know how to connect the other two wires from the gps receiver. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

It is likely that there is a ‘+’ and a ‘-‘ or an ‘A or B” to connect the unit too but Please let us know about the information above and we can go from there.
I have the manual for the c80 here for more reference later.
