My intention is to be able to broadcast AIS and GPS information thru wifi on my android device phone cell or samsung galaxy tab tablet and use opecpn or navionics applications.

I live in Canada and I intend to buy a . Will the NMEA-0183 GPS output feed a marine radio for the distress calls or will I have to buy a VHF-DSC-GPS marine radio. In addition, I intend to use as VHS splitter antenna the Glomex RA201. Will it be suitable?

The VHF-DSC without GPS marine radios could be:
      Standard Horizon 190 GX1400B
      ICOM M330G

Or would I be better with QK-A023 with VHF-DSC-GPS marine radios like:
      ICOM M330G 31
      Standard Horizon GX1800GB VHF/GPS
