Hi. Bought a QK-A031 this week. Problems with connecting NMEA 4800 streams.
AMEC AIS with 9600 baud works fine. The lead flashes and I can read the messages on NMEA out (Hyperterminal)
When connecting Simrad AT10 Universal Converter NMEA 0183 brigde (Baud settings 4800) The led does not flash
The same problem when I connect a standard GPS (Baud settings 4800)
No output to Hyperterminal
Any hints?
21/01/2019 at 2:04 pm #14274Hello This is very odd but im sure we can find the answer to this. At first thought I think it is to do with the voltage levels of the equipment. Could you please explain how everything is connected in your setup so I can understand where the issue may lie? For example
Standard GPS (rs232) >>> QK-A031 (rs422)>>>Simrad AT10 universal converter>>>N2K bus>>>MFD.
Please tell me the make and models and we can go from there.
Best regards
Joshua
