Hello Quark-Elec,
Normally when I buy a marine electronics device it comes with an electrical power cable with the correct fuse attached.
I understand Quark devices are a bit more “ad-hoc” so no critique on delivering the device without a power cable, it probably keeps the price down for the customer anyway.
I am relatively new in boat electronics but my understanding is that all devices should have a fuse on the plus side as close to the device as possible. Would it be possible for you to explain the recommended fuse type/size for my device. As a friendly recommendation it would be nice to have this information in the user manual of each device. If its in there and Ive just not spottet it, my apologies for this post.
My device is QK-A031.
Kind Regards
Johann
