Hi. I have a UNIDEN VHF and I would like the GPS data to feed through from the A026. The wiring diagram for the UNIDEN suggests one NMEA Out+ Connection, and then a ‘ground’. Where should the VHF ground wire go: to the NMEA Out-; or to the case of the A026; or to the (VHF) battery negative terminal? 26/09/2018 at 12:23 pm #14183Hello Please do not put the ground Wire onto the A026 case as this could have severe issues. The majority of the time you will put this somewhere that is grounded to the boat. Please see this link:

If you scroll to the bottom then you will see a table with different connections on it to try. If you have the manual or a link to the manual then I can have a look and see.
I think you want to ground that wire to your Boat, but you may need to try a few configurations. Is the VHF using RS232 voltage? If so then you may even need the Garmin bridge. We will see later on though.
Please see the link and table and let me know how you get on.
Best regards

Once again, thanks for a great product and customer service!
