I have an old chart plotter not designed for ais (standard horizon 175). I tend to use my iPad Pro with navionics. Can I set up an ais transponder B class to work something via iPad and skip connecting to the chartplotter?
Yes you are able to use any of our WIFI enabled devices on a tablet/phone without a chart plotter!
