      Hi.

I just got my A031 Multiplexer.

In the set-up guide there isn’t reference for power consumption.

How much Watt/Ampere does the A031 need to work properly.

      Thanks.

      Hello

The QK-A031 uses a DC power supply of 9-35V(+/-0.2V). the average supply current (typical quiescent) is 80mA.

I hope this helps, please let me know if you have any other queries.

      Best regards

Hello…my Verizon standard definition A031 set top box is 500 watts, pretty much confirmed via Kill-o-watt at 478 watts. Interestingly enough, I can’t measure a difference between on and off. I think off just turns off the front LED display.

          Hi,

is the tolerance as mentioned above? I have a 24v system but all navigations equipment are running on a victron dc-dc converter giving about 13.2v – wondering if I’d need a separate voltage regulator since 12.0v was very clearly stated in the document

          regards,

          Daniel

          Hello

For powering the A031 unit 13.2V will be fine.

let us know if you have any further queries.

          Best regards

          Joshua

So if I understand correctly, I can use a 24V input?

            Hello

Sorry for the late reply. yes 24.0V is fine for use with the A031.

            Best regards
