Description

The A026+ NMEA 2000 AIS Receiver is used by many commercial and retail sectors alike, including sports, leisure, fishing and vessel monitoring markets. This level of adaptability is due to not only the A026+’s solid metal enclosure and heavy duty S0239 connector but also because of its WiFi capabilities and its ease of use. The A026+ requires little to no configuration in most cases and can transmit all of your data to any WiFi enabled Android, iOS, Windows or Mac device allowing you to use navigational applications on the go.

Connections

Connection	Specification
AIS Antenna Connector	Heavy-duty SO239 VHF connector for external antenna. Requires an active VHF antenna splitter (e.g., A015-RX) if sharing one VHF antenna with A026-Plus and VHF voice radio.
GPS Connector	TNC female bulkhead connector for external GPS antenna. Integrated GPS module provides positional data when a GPS antenna is connected.
WiFi Connector	SMA connector. Supports Ad-hoc and Station Modes on 802.11 b/g/n for WiFi output of all messages. WiFi can be disabled via standby mode.
USB Connector	Type-B USB connector (cable included). Connects directly to a PC USB port. Provides data input/output and is used for configuration and firmware updates.
NMEA 0183 Output Connectors	Allows connection to AIS-compatible equipment (wind, depth, heading sensors). Inputs can be multiplexed with AIS+GPS and output via NMEA 0183, WiFi, USB, and NMEA 2000 backbone.
NMEA 2000 Connector	Pre-fitted five-core screened cable with male micro-fit connector. Connect via T-piece to NMEA 2000 backbone. Backbone requires two termination resistors (one at each end).
