can you please keep us updated.

in reply to: Multiplexer help #14003

It sounds like you need a Seatalk to NMEA 0183 bridge and NMEA0183 to 2000 converter. But you maybe need talk to a local technician to get more help. Thanks.

Thanks for your suggestions. You are right. This is definitely some thing we will do for every products this year. Thanks.

in reply to: QK-A026/024 receiver #13990

You don’t need put the box outside the cabinet. Use a long cable to extend the antenna to be higher will be fine. QK-A024/26 was designed for indoor application.

    in reply to: AO21 #13992

Unfortunately, you canot do that way. A021 need a proper driver to work. We only suggest customer select this device for Widnows/iOS computers. We know some customers have get it work with other devices like Android tablet/ Arduino platform, but if you don’t have enough IT skills don’t try that. For your case, you need QK-A024 or QK-A026 which have standard NMEA interface. You maybe also need Garmin bridge.

in reply to: Problems with GPS (QK-A026) on Ipad #13986

The bottom LED (GPS??) blinks probably once a second.—-Correct. Make sure you have a good active antenna and of course you should be at outdoor. Let us know how is going. Thanks.

in reply to: A-024 network #13982

Unfortunately, no! You need a wireless router and connect all these three devices to it. Good luck.

in reply to: QK-A022 Red LED #13978

Blinking Red LED indicates A022 works properly. You should see the green led flash when valid AIS messages received. The competitors’ products are based on a different design. We don’t want to comment more here. But you can get your feeling from the price, generally performance.
    Thanks

Can you explain a bit more about your question please.

in reply to: QK-G021 use as an alarm #13983

Thanks for your esquires. See replies as below please.

is it possible to configure the alarm messages: e.g. to give them sensible names?—Unfortunately, no.
Is there a time delay to activate relay 1 ?

You can set the timer for it.
does the alarm transmit as soon as the input 1 is closed or only when relay 1 switches

    Both.

    Can I program a delay?—No.
does the alarm send to all registered numbers?

    Yes.
does the text send to all registered numbers when the alarm has been reset?—-Yes.
    – as several people can respond I would like confirmation that the alarm has been resolved and reset so that 2 or more guys do not attend!

is there a way to interrogate the sim with regard to the balance outstanding? I am on Vodaphone PAYG.

    Sorry, no.

in reply to: A031 LEDs #13977

Sorry for the confusion. LED6 and LED7 were reserved for NMEA 2000 interface. They don’t work on the current version. Thanks.

updated on 3/3/2020: LED7 indicated the WiFi/USB output data. And LED6 reserved for online firmware upgrading purpose.

in reply to: Re: QK-A027 questions #13975

Hello, 1, Yes, you still need 12V and GND connected even don’t need data on SeaTalk port.

2, You need the powered spliter if the antenna shared with VHF radion, otherwise QK-A027 could be damaged! Thanks

in reply to: QK-R022 DC motor controller #13805

Hello , we stop selling this product from beginning of 2017, how can you get it now? from our distributor? ? Anyway, if you need the A/N please email us.

    in reply to: A026 #13973

As long as you have 0183 to N2K convert, i cannot see why it will not work. BTW, you probably want to see our next new product which can do this job. Unfortunately, you maybe need wait couple of months for it.

in reply to: QK-A027 SeaTalk through Wifi #13969

Yes, this is the converted Seatalk messages. So you need work on OpenCPN side to see how to display these messages.

If you still have problem with it please contact us to get the latest version firmware(that fix the inter-operation issue with some old Raymarine devices)

in reply to: QK-A027 SeaTalk through Wifi #13970

No, you will not see any Seatalk messages. In fact, you should all the related data with NMEA 0183 format. All Seatalk data has been converted into NMEA 0183 messages and then send out through WiFi.

in reply to: QK-A027 and iNavx on iPad 9.7" (2017) with iNavx #13965

Check the previous post please, I think some of customer has get it works with iNavx on iPad.

Contact us with your order number please. Since you need output data from A027, you maybe need a Garmin bridge board.

in reply to: A021 Connection issues #13955

Further to our phone conversation just now, we believe your A021 didn’t receive valid AIS signals. 7 miles from the sea with buildings and obstacles drops too much VHF signals. Can you please move to a near place to see any joy.

in reply to: QK-A026 gps and VHF antennas #13952

A 28.6 meters RG58 cable and one 3 meters RG58 cable were used to perform the comparison tests. Our lab tests shows that 28.6 meters’ cable inserts 6.3db attenuation, while 3 meters only gives 1.5db. This means with the longer cable the receivers sensitivity level drops 4.8db.

in reply to: QK-A026 gps and VHF antennas #13951

QK-A026 has a build-in GPS receiver. All you need is an active GPS antenna. You should be able to find enough options by googling like the following image.
