I’m having a few issues with my Qk-G022 controller! Firstly when the jumper’s are moved so that the relays times, doesn’t work, relays latch. When I send SMS the controller replays inch1inch2… Also only the main phone registered can activate the controller none of the other phones can but receive fault alarms. And finally can’t download app from website. Can anyone enlighten me or is this just money down the drain!

      Hello

With regards to your first question about the latching timers. The latching timers only work for relays 1 and 2. This is the same for the daily timer functions and the manual timer functions. Relay 3 only has the capability to function on/off. In some cases it is designed to work with the wireless PIR system for the QK-G022P. ‘Inch1Inch2’ mean relays 1 and 2 are set up to work in latching mode. By setting the latching timers you should see then see a delay in the relays.

Your second question is an issue. At first glance it sounds like the secondary numbers issued are different or wrong from the carrier. We have an FAQ section relating to it. Please see the link below and follow the FAQ. Please also try different numbers stored in there and if possible different carriers in control. It could be that the network service provider in your area isn’t sending or receiving the correct 2G signals for your device needs. Please try different mobile numbers as the mai8n control phone with different carriers. If this does not work then I would suggest trying a different carrier in the SIM card slot. Do not use the network carrier three because they only use 3G signal and not 2G (2G needed for QK-G022 and 3G needed for QK-G033).

In regards to your third question, I have tested the links on our website and they all appear to be functioning. I am more than happy to send the apps to you via email or by sending a link to them for download by some other means. Follow the link below and you should get a download for the app.

I hope this helps a bit more. Please let us know how you get on.

      Best regards

      Hello

We have received your unit and tested the unit and it is fully functional from our tests. We have been trying to get in contact with you to explain why you were having difficulty. But sadly we have had no answer from the number or email left with Amazon. If you could give us an email or a ring because we would like to return the unit to you and give you more detailed instructions as to what you can do.

The issue you were having was that the numbers weren’t saved correctly. We were able to get it working by removing the 0 at the start of the mobile number and changing it to +44. So the number in the device would be stored as +447123456789. To send this as a code to the device would be BD1+447123456789f Remember when sending a code to the unit it must be in all capital letters. More information can be found at the top of this forum under the heading IOT FAQ at the announcements page.

I hope this helps others on the forum with similar issue about storing numbers. Please contact us so we can return the unit to you as swiftly as possible.

      Best regards
