I need help connecting my QK-A026 and QK-A03 bridge to my Nexus NX2000/garmin VHF. It has an 8-pin connection for GPS input and output. I want to input GPS data for DSC function of the VHF. Any good advice is highly appreciated. By the way, my QK-A026 works 100% perfect with Navionics Boating on my iPAD. Best Regards

      Hi Erik,

Thanks for letting us know your A026 works perfect with Navionics.

To connect A026 with your Garmin VHF radio, you do need the protocol bridge. The connection details can be found from:

      https://www.quark-elec.com/product/qk-as03-nmea-protocol-bridge/

For some VHF radio, we noticed the NMEA input only support 4800bps, if this the case for you please setup the NMEA output baud rate to be 4800bps via the configuration tool.

      Good luck!

        Hello Quark,

I purchased a A026 and works fine through wifi with iPad and navionics for GPS and AIS data.
Now I want to connect the NMEA out of th A026 with a Navman VHF 7100.
The VHF has a bus connection with 2 wires for GPS NMEA in (yellow + and green -)
If I connect these wires to the corresponding connector on the Quark the VHF is not receiving GPS data.
I tried on both 34800 en 4800 baud setting of the Quark output.

Could you help me on this ?

        Regards,
        Mees

          Hi,

Make sure BAUD is correct on both the A026 and the VHF.
          Try reversing +/-.
