The new A027-plus is perfectly positioned between our entry-level range of AIS receivers and the A026-plus, which is our commercial grade AIS and GPS receiver. This pocket-friendly device is the first of its kind to feature an Ethernet output port which can be connected directly to a router or a computer. Navigation data can be sent to a remote server, then viewed or monitored on a laptop or onboard desktop computer.
To make life easier aboard, the A027-plus also features a one-way WiFi connection, which permits sending navigation data to a tablet or mobile phone. The newest member of our product family has SeaTalk and NMEA 0183 inputs which offer the option of connecting sensors or other talker devices to the A027-plus. Alongside ethernet and WiFi, it can output the multiplexed data via USB, NMEA 0183, or even to an NMEA 2000 network.
Similar to the A026-plus, the A027-plus allows data filtering, which can be easily configured.
The A027-plus has an increased AIS receiving range of up to 45 nm, and thanks to these additional features, the QK-A027-plus can be easily integrated into a vessel’s existing marine data network or used as an AIS shore station to monitor shipping.
