Sailing in the English Channel last weekend they managed to use a very basic & simple AIS system – using our Quark-elec A023 and a basic AIS antenna (as pictured before installation) and managed to see boats 80 miles way.

Thank you Steve. We’re not sure it’s a world record but great that you’re customers had such exceptional results using the Quark-elec A023 AIS receiver with WiFi.
In most cases the limit for an AIS receiver is about 45 miles. But with the right conditions a further range is possible.
