Quark-elec AIS receiver and NMEA MUX products questions

QK-A021

Postby Jorge Lago » Wed Sep 13, 2017 10:02 pm

Dear Sirs:
I have connected my QK A021 AIS receiver to a personal computer DELL. with Windows 7 and CPN, which is also connected to the GPS signal of my SIMRAD cp31.
After having worked a few minutes, receiving signals from boats less than three miles away, I turned off the equipment and when I turn it on again, I can not display the AIS information on the screen, although it is clear that the receiver is receiving packets, and its green LED makes many flash lights.
After this situation, I have made several new intents, and the results has been two success and a lot of failures
Can you give me some indication of what I should do?

Thank you in advance for your cooperation. greetings
Jorge Lago

Thanks for your information. Can you please check the driver works well through device manager. In most of cases, this is the reason. You can always remove the driver and install it from the beginning. Try a different computer is another way to see where is the problem. Good luck.
